A female hospital doctor at AIIMS committed suicide in the aisle at the Operation Theater at around eight in the morning on Saturday night. ACP (West) Chansing Maheke said that on Saturday night, around 8:30 pm Shastri Nagar police station Ramesh Sharma was informed that a female nursing worker has committed suicide in the corridor behind the OTS of AIIMS. Here, on the third floor of the OPD Wing, the body of the woman got burnt in the corridor behind the O-B store OT store room. On the spot, plastic bottle lids, match spots and bottle residues can be seen. Probably the woman has set herself on fire by spreading kerosene or any other flammable substance. He was identified as Alanathur District Pathamnithita, resident of 25-year-old BG Pinos. He was working here since August 2017 and used to live in Bhagat's Kothi expansion plan.

Station Officer Sharma said that the incident site was the third floor and behind it are the lawns and other buildings of the AIIMS campus. At about eight o'clock, a guard standing in the outer part of the OT ran into the OT and reported it in the OPD. AIIMS's fireman ran behind OT, but the store's door was locked from inside. A fireman reached the corridor along the window of the other room and opened the room gate. After that, the fire broke out from the equipment, but till then the maiden had died.
